Responsibilities

At Vinso, we are looking for a Materials Compliance Engineer. As Material Compliance Engineer you will be responsible for attaining product and materials compliance by preventing compliance issues; developing and executing compliance programs; completing documentation and recommending process changes.
The primary responsibility of the Material Compliance Engineer is to ensure compliance for all materials, component part used in related industry (automotive, textile, medicine…etc.) with respect to international environmental standard or regulations. The position requires you to have a general knowledge of related industry and to be well-versed in the International Material Data System (IMDS), chemistry/material science and engineering and environmental regulations.

• Coordination for receiving MDS submission requests as per the PPAP / launch plan from the customer
• Coordination with internal customer product group team for various IMDS issues
• Communicate with suppliers (via email/phone) of the customer for gathering the material data sheets and solving the day-to-day issues
• Validation of incoming MDS from the customers suppliers as per the client and its IMDS guidelines
• Making MDS analysis as per costumers request
• Maintenance and updating the IMDS workload trackers, customer-specific IMDS guidelines and reflecting in the checklists for validation & creation
• All the above work to be carried out in customers web-based IMDS database (subject to access rights being granted by the customer)
• Control and report to client’s project management the main KPIs about IMDS data completion
• Maintain a centralized point-of-contact for all IMDS-related issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Material Engineering
• Having work experience in related industry is a plus
• Have good knowledge or experience with International Material Data System and material compliance regulation such as GADSL, REACH, ROH etc. is a plus
• Skilled at Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Have ability to manage various complex project and perform successfully task in international working environment
• Good understanding of quality management system of related industry is a plus
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
